Salvoni adds Asia to Europe remit for Harris

UK— Robert Salvoni, managing director of Harris Interactive Europe, will now also take charge of the firm’s Asian business, after current president Anthony Venus leaves the company next month.

Venus, who joined Harris when his own company MarketShare was acquired in 2007, is leaving the firm to pursue a career in private equity.

Salvoni (pictured) will continue to be based in London. Ali Mirza, who heads up business and client development for Harris Interactive in Asia, will remain in his current role.

“There’s a huge opportunity for Asian companies now which are moving in a big way into the western developed world. There are a lot of companies that we’ve all heard of like LG and Samsung, but there’s also a number now that we haven’t yet heard of, but that are absolutely huge.”
