Web ratings ‘guru' joins Effective Measure

Former Red Sheriff and Nielsen NetRatings man Richard Webb appointed to board

AUSTRALIA-- Digital audience measurement firm Effective Measure has appointed Richard Webb to its board.

Webb worked with Effective Measure co-founder James Robertson at Red Sherrif, the online measurement firm acquired by Nielsen in 2004 which became Nielsen NetRatings. He was also founder and CEO of Australian digital marketing agency BlueFreeway.

He said: “Effective Measure offers a unique solution that has managed to not only address, but to overcome, the main problems that affect the industry – visitor audience misrepresentation through duplicated counting and cookie deletion.”

The firm is currently preparing to launch its digital audience measurement service in the Middle East with Dubai-based research agency Real Opinions.

Dan Healy, CEO at Real Opinions, said: “Richard is a global guru in this industry and his involvement is an emphatic endorsement of the Effective Measure solution.”
