Warc's monthly marketing index sees growth
GLOBAL— Warc’s monthly index of marketing budgets showed an upward trend for the first time since it began in November last year.
The index, which is based on the number of marketing professionals who say activity has risen or fallen, stood at 51.5, showing a slight improvement. It was up from 49.3 last month and from a low of 43.9 in November.
The headline Global Marketing Index, which also looks at trading conditions and staffing, stands at 57.4, up from 56.2 in February, with the fastest growth in the Americas.
The research is based on Warc’s panel of executives at brand owners, media owners, creative and media agencies and other organisations serving the marketing industry.
