Vizu lands $2.9m in additional financing

Vizu Corporation – developer of do-it-yourself web poll service Vizu Answers – has secured an additional $2.9m in funding, led by a $1.5m investment from venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson.

The company intends to use the financing to further “market and develop” the service. It is already backed by WR Hembrecht + Co, Amicus and a number of angel investors.
