US media analysis ‘pioneers' CARMA appoint new president
CARMA International, the 21-year-old media analysis firm, has announced the appointment of Michael G. Carberry as President.
The Washington DC-based firm provides PR professionals with analysis on media exposure as well as offering strategic insights for future planning. Clients include Ben & Jerry's, 3Com, Sprint Corporation and Brodeur Worldwide.
Carberry began his career in advertising before moving on to head up the advertising department at the US Post Office. As well as stints at PR firms Shandwick and Porter Novelli, Carberry chaired Direct Impact, a communications subsidiary of Burson Marsteller.
