Two staff to go at Mesh Planning

‘We have to acknowledge tough times,' says MD Fiona Blades

Mesh Planning, which swept the Research conference awards last year, has made two of its seven staff redundant.

Speaking to Research, managing director Fiona Blades said: “We have to acknowledge tough times. Other companies are experiencing exactly the same situation. We're no different in that respect. With projects being postponed and cancelled we had no choice but to say goodbye to some members of the team.”

Blades said the move was made in order to “match the workload to the people” but emphasised that the reduction in staff numbers would not change the nature, scale or scope of work undertaken by Mesh.

Of the two staff members she said that their “courageous spirit and hard work have been instrumental in making Mesh what it is today. Their contribution won't be forgotten.”

The two members of staff are currently serving their notice periods.
