Twenty clients sign-up to insight forum

Major companies back Customer Insight Solutions initiative

Twenty clients including Bacardi, Coca-Cola, Eli Lilly, ICI and Vodafone have thrown their weight behind a new customer insight forum, set up to tackle major issues and concerns facing clientside insight departments.

The group was brought together by Steve Wills and Sally Webb, founders of Customer Insight Solutions (CIS), the clientside MR consultancy set up following the liquidation of their previous venture, Strategic Research in November last year.

Wills first revealed plans for the forum to Research in January. Member companies will meet four times a year for full-day workshops. Between workshops, CIS will conduct research and investigation on topics set by forum members and funded by their membership fees.

The first project – looking at ways to measure and demonstrate the ROI of insight – is already underway, and the first meeting of the client forum is scheduled for June.

Wills said: “We are absolutely delighted with the quality of the companies we have on board, and there are one or two big names still thinking of joining.”
