Twelfth year of growth for B2B International

International expansion fuels turnover jump

UK-- Business-to-business market research agency B2B International has reported its twelfth successive year of growth after recording turnover of £3.3m in 2008 – up from £2.4m in 2007.

The firm's business development and finance director Matthew Harrison said: “Key to this growth has been our expansion into the huge US and Chinese markets over the past three years.”

Harrison told Research he expected growth in China to “level off” during 2009 and noted a change in the kind of work the firm is carrying out for clients as the global recession kicks in.

He said: “There has been a change from more expansive work to more defensive things like customer satisfaction surveys.”

Looking ahead, Harrison said: “We're optimistic. Despite the economic situation people out there still want research.”
