Tool lets recording artists face the music

Slicethepie offers 24-hour feedback on new tracks

US-- Slicethepie.com, which allows music fans to review tracks and connects the most promising recording artists with investors, has launched an online insight and analytics service to allow musicians and record labels to get feedback on new tracks.

By gathering feedback on a track from Slicethepie's reviewers, the SoundOut tool produces a report within 24 hours, outlining a track's potential for success, whether it has broad or niche appeal, and the gender and age group it appeals to.

David Courtier-Dutton, CEO of Slicethepie, said: “With over 10 million artists and countless music consumers now online, there is an ever growing need for objective analysis and consumer-powered filtering. When we saw the statistical integrity of the data being generated from the Slicethepie reviewers, we knew we were on to something important.”
