Tokyo's Research Panel ventures overseas

Japanese panel company looks to sign up clients outside its home market

JAPAN-- Tokyo-based online survey specialist Research Panel is to start targeting overseas clients looking for data on Japanese consumers.

To date, the company has focused on servicing businesses in its home market but will now look to secure customers from across the wider Asia Pacific region, Europe and the US.

Research Panel is headed by CEO Toshiki Sano, who is also managing director of the comparison shopping website EC Navi.

It has a panel of 1.2m members, subdivided into speciality panels focusing on specific demographics and sectors.
