TNS wins extension to Slovakian TAM deal

Agency to provide audience measurement to PMT for five more years

SLOVAKIA-- TNS SK has extended its deal with TV audience company PMT to deliver electronic TV audience measurement in Slovakia.

The new five-year contract period kicks in at the beginning of February 2010. The survey, conducted among some 1200 households, will be carried out using Peoplemeter technology.

The Peoplemeter data will, the company claims, be available for analysis to PMT on the morning after the previous night's viewing. Data processing will be carried out via the TNS Infosys tool.

TNS SK has been providing measurement to PMT since 2004. PMT represents Slovakian stations including Slovenska Televizia, TV Markiza, TV JOJ and TA3.
