TNS explores Australia's generous side

Firm launches syndicated study to investigate charity donations

AUSTRALIA-- TNS has launched a new syndicated study to give not-for-profit (NFP) and government organisations greater insight into people that donate money to charity.

The new survey, Donations, will be conducted twice a year and explore what sort of people donate to charities, why they give and what their preferred methods of donation are.

It will also measure how charity and NFP brands rate against each other and clients can add issue-specific questions.

A thousand Australians between the ages of 16 and 64 will be interviewed for the survey each April and November.

Kate Snow, a director at TNS Social Research, said: “We saw the need for a syndicated study in this market and have been approached over the last few years to do similar studies for individual clients…As a syndicated study the survey costs are spread across all subscribers so we can offer these findings to organisations on a tight budget.”
