TNS closes Pennsylvania call centre

Firm cites ‘business conditions' and drive to online work as reasons for closure

US-- TNS is to close its call centre in Indiana, Pennsylvania, at the end of March.

The firm cited the continued move to online research as the main reason behind the decision to close.

A spokesperson told Research: “While business conditions require us to make this change, it is a very difficult decision.”

A local press report said that 128 jobs would be axed as a result of the closure.

Staff who have been laid off will be provided with help to find new jobs by TNS and the local chamber of commerce.
