Tesco's Andrew Mann moves to Sainsbury's as insight boss

Former Tesco marketer becomes head of insight at rival retailer

UK-- Supermarket chain Sainsbury's has hired Andrew Mann from rival retailer Tesco as director of customer insight and loyalty.

At Tesco, Mann was director for marketing planning, and previously marketing director for Tesco Clubcard.

He joins Sainsbury's as the firm undergoes a restructure that, according to the Daily Telegraph, could see the loss of up to 300 jobs.

Mann is due to start at Sainsbury's at the end of February.
