US— Software and services firm MarketTools has announced a new mobile research offering, which allows clients to reach respondents through smartphones and tablets.
Jay Pluhar (pictured), the firm’s VP of market research solutions, said: “We’ve been offering our clients SMS mobile surveys for years, and our new native mobile capabilities build on our expertise in mobile research. Our clients can use our new mobile capabilities to expand the reach of their studies and deepen the insights learned from their online research.”
The technology allows companies to source pictures, videos, audio recordings and research diaries from respondents and invite them to take part in surveys via emails, QR codes or SMS messaging.
