ClickTale offers segmented website heatmaps

ISRAEL— Web analytics firm ClickTale has introduced a feature to allow users to view ‘heatmaps’ of where different types of user point and click their mouse on webpages, segmented by demographic or behavioural information.

Users will be able to compare existing customers with first-time shoppers, buyers with non-buyers, as well as users of different ages and in different countries. The graphical reports can incorporate data from as many as 100,000 visitors, the firm said.

Tal Schwartz, CEO and co-founder of ClickTale, said the service addresses the problem of measuring visitor engagement and site usability in an affordable way.
