Tango makes analytics buy

InSite purchase bolsters retail analytics offer • Mark Zygmontowicz to head operations

US-- Tango Management Consulting (TMC) has acquired retail strategy and sales forecasting agency InSite Analytics. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Insite Analytics will operate as part of Tango's retail analytics arm, and the firm's CEO, David Bunton has been given the role of director in the division.

Tango has also appointed Mark Zygmontowicz, the former partner and executive vice president at retail market research agency Thompson Associates, to have overall responsibility for its retail analytics operations.

Jack Thompson, president and CEO of Tango, said: “I'm tremendously pleased to welcome Mark, David and the entire InSite Analytics team to the practice. They will immediately establish TMC as the leader in the retail analytics realm.”
