Synovate makes changes in Sao Paulo

Manuel Lopes takes on expanded operations role in South America as Jesus Caldeiro moves to head up clients and practices in Brazil

BRAZIL-- Synovate's managing director in Brazil, Manuel Lopes has been given additional responsibility for operations for the entire South America region, the company announced today.

Lopes has been tasked with helping the various local business units improve operational efficiency, commercial growth and profitability.

At the same time, Jesus Caldeiro – the research agency's client service director for Spain – has been moved to the new role of client services and practices director for Synovate Brazil.

The appointment marks a return to Sao Paulo for Caldeiro, who was Lopes's predecessor as country MD. He has also previously led Synovate's business in Portugal.

In his new role, Caldeiro will be responsible for overseeing key accounts and managing business for the agency's global practices – Customer Experience, Brand & Communications and MarketQuest – in Brazil.
