Strong start for Research Now, says chairman

Panel provider ‘progressing well' in early 2009, AGM told

UK-- Online fieldwork and panel provider Research Now is “on track to deliver profitable growth in 2009” according to chairman Geoff Westmore.

Speaking at the firm's AGM today, Westmore said trading had “continued to progress well” following the publication of preliminary results for 2008 on 2 February.

He said there had been “a strong pick-up in activity levels from January's seasonal low point” while March trading had been “particularly positive”.

Westmore said the group's reported revenues and gross margin are expected to be up on last year by approximately 23% and 28% respectively.

“Despite the worldwide recessionary environment,” he said, “the group remains on track to deliver profitable growth in 2009.”

Research Now reported a 60% jump in revenue to £41.2m in 2008. Click here for more on the results.
