SSI debuts US small business owners omnibus

New study kick-starts series using OpinionWorld panel

US-- Survey Sampling International (SSI) has launched a quarterly US Small Business Owner Omnibus.

The company claims it will be the first in a series of services that use its proprietary OpinionWorld Business Community. Lars Long, director of B2B panel and product development told Research that it was likely that an omnibus tackling general business issues among large business would debut next, followed by studies for the IT, finance and HR communities.

The study explores attitudes to the US economy and plight of small businesses. The survey was responded to by 343 small business owners. The firm is looking to increase the owners' response in the next survey.

The fieldwork took place in mid-February.

SSI is to open up the study to allow clients to add individual questions for their own research purposes.
