SearchHelp launches Echometrix buzz tracker

Software maker aims to measure sentiment in digital communications

US-- Software firm SearchHelp has launched a new division to analyse and measure 'sentiment' in blogs, forums, emails and text messages.

The firm claims its Echometrix technology can be used to improve the effectiveness of marketing and advertising campaigns.

SearchHelp CEO Bill Bozsnyak said: “It is management's belief that this type of technology will becomes standard practice and replace many of the current market research practices being used today.”

The company, which also produces online parental control software, plans to take on new management to run the Echometrix business, including an advisory board of industry experts.
