RI's Continental Europe CEO set for March exit

Frank Voehl-Hitscher to leave next month, calling time on a 30-year career with the research agency

UK-- Frank Voehl-Hitscher, Research International's (RI) CEO for Continental Europe, is leaving the agency at the end of March, Research has learned.

A spokesperson said his departure was “by mutual agreement” and is “unrelated to the recent merger of TNS and Research International”.

Voehl-Hitscher has been with the company since 1979, joining as a trainee in Germany. He rose to join the German board in 1990 and became country CEO nine years later.

He has held his current position since 2007, having previously been CEO for Northern Europe.

RI's spokesperson said: “Frank has been a highly committed and influential member of the leadership team and was a primary driver in building RI's presence not only in Germany, but across Europe.”

The combined TNS and RI is expected to reveal a new worldwide board in the coming weeks, headed by chairman Bob Meyers and CEO Pedro Ros.
