Research chief leaves Clear Channel Outdoor

Tony Jarvis out after three years with outdoor media owner

US-- Tony Jarvis has left his position of executive vice president of global research at outdoor media owner Clear Channel Outdoor.

It is not known whether Jarvis has another job lined up, or whether his role was scrapped as part of a restructure. The Clear Channel group announced in January that it was reducing its total workforce by 9% as part of a plan to cut costs.

A spokeswoman declined to give further information on the nature of Jarvis's departure. She said the company does not comment on “personnel issues”.

Jarvis joined Clear Channel Outdoor in 2006 from broadcaster CBS where he was research chief. He has also held senior research and insight roles at MediaCom, Millward Brown and CTN Media Group.
