Polling site says get on your soapbox

Yoursoapbox.com allows users to create polls and vote on topical issues

UK-- A new polling website is giving the public a chance to have their say by creating their own single question polls on local and national issues.

Yoursoapbox.com was set up last year by Tony Gifford. He told Research he hopes the data gathered will be used to influence important public decisions.

He said: “There are a number of sites where thousands of people post comments, but nothing really happens from it. We hope that once we get enough people clicking, that it'll work a bit like a petition, but with more happening. If the article is right and the voting is right it has a lot more power.”
