Pert makes two buys and changes name

Market Directions and Pulsar Research join newly dubbed Pert Group

US-- Pert Survey Research has acquired brand insight house Market Directions and customer experience and public policy consultancy Pulsar Research.

Market Directions will continue to be headed by founder Susan Spaulding, while Pulsar's founders Kenneth Dautrich and Christopher Barnes will also stay at the helm of their company.

Following the acquisitions, Pert has rebranded as The Pert Group. President Dale Lersch said the new additions and new group structure would give clients “a superior integrated approach to product and service innovation, positioning and performance”.

Spaulding said: “The vision of this combined group allows us to provide our clients with strategic guidance from brand/service inception to brand protection and growth.”

Dautrich added: “The new organisation will have the required intellectual assets to contribute to corporate, product and brand growth as well as to help form public policy using qualitative and quantitative methodologies.”
