US— Online panel and research technology provider Vision Critical has promoted Scott Miller to the role of group CEO from October. Founder and co-CEO Andrew Reid will continue to lead the firm’s innovation and software development activities.

Miller (pictured) joined the firm this April as president and COO of international business after a spell as CEO of Synovate North America. He was also CEO at automotive consultancy Synovate Motoresearch.

In his new role, Miller will be based at the firm’s New York office and oversee Vision Critical’s operations in the US and internationally.

Chairman Angus Reid said: “Since Scott joined Vision Critical, he has brought amazing energy, judgement and vision to our international operations. He will now bring these talents to our entire business.”

Ed Morawski, who previously served as co-CEO alongside Andrew Reid, has been given the role of president and global COO to work with Miller on the expansion of Vision Critical’s strategy, services and delivery infrastructure.

Last month Vision Critical secured $20m in funding from venture capitalist OMERS Ventures, which it said would be used to expand its product lines and infrastructure, as well as executing global growth plans.
