Vision Critical hires ex-GfK MD to lead consumer practice

US— Former GfK Custom Research managing director Patricia Hughes has been appointed executive vice president of the consumer division at Vision Critical.

Hughes (pictured) spent 14 years at GfK and was previously vice president and account planner at Campbell Mithun Advertising.

At Vision Critical, she will operate out of the firm’s Chicago office and be responsible for managing custom panels and survey technology for consumer respondents.

The firm’s CEO Angus Reid said: “Pat Hughes has an excellent reputation, tremendous market research experience and amazing sector knowledge. We’re honoured to have her as part of our team.”
