TAIWAN— Synovate has appointed Matthew Chang as the new head of its Taiwan office.

He takes over from the previous country director Jenny Chang, who leaves the role after five years to move to Beijing as head of the agency’s technology and telecoms research in Greater China.

Matthew Chang previously served as a research director for TNS in the technology and automotive sectors. He said his goal is “to build Synovate Taiwan into an even more outstanding workplace that it highly recognised by clients as a professional and innovative research agency”.

Eliza Wong, CEO of Synovate in Greater China, said Chang’s expertise and experience would be “a huge asset” to the company’s clients.
