Seven hires Emelia Millward as head of research

AUSTRALIA— Seven Network has appointed Special Broadcasting Services’ Emelia Millward as its head of research. She joins after eight years with SBS as head of research and insights.

At Seven she will lead the broadcaster’s research team and help to build the company’s television business across its digital broadcast platform. Seven’s chief sales and digital officer Kurt Burnette said the objective of her appointment is to “continue to lead the market in the delivery of client solutions and programme insights.”

Millward, a former head of consumer insight and marketing at Foxtel, has worked at CNN, Cartoon Network and Turner Classic Movies in London. She has also led the media team at Nielsen.
