Ross McLean to lead mobile research efforts at Egg Strategy

US— Marketing research consultancy Egg Strategy has appointed Ross McLean to lead its Over The Shoulder division, which conducts mobile research using an iPhone app.

McLean (pictured), who will be based at Egg’s Chicago office, was formerly an executive vice president and group planning director at ad agency Draftfcb Chicago.

The company said McLean will lead the firm’s work with digital ethnography and techniques based on social media.

Tom Trenta, president of Egg Strategy Chicago, said McLean is “the ideal person to explore, create and push at the edges of new ways to use technology to find consumer truths”.
