UK— Martin Filz, Research Now’s managing director for the EMEA and APAC regions, has resigned to take up an undisclosed role elsewhere in the research industry.

The firm has announced changes to its global leadership team as a result of his impending departure. Chief strategy officer Miles Worne has been given the additional role of managing director for EMEA and James Burge will continue as MD for Asia Pacific, a role he held under Filz’s leadership.

President and CEO Kurt Knapton said: “During his tenure with us, Martin helped expand our business in Asia Pacific and Europe. We thank him for his contributions and wish him the best in his new endeavours.”

Meanwhile, John Rothwell has rejoined the company in the dual role of EVP of supply for Research Now and president of e-Rewards portfolio companies. Rothwell first joined e-Rewards, Research Now’s parent company, in 1999 and has had spells as a management consultant at Accenture and Booz Allen Hamilton, as president and COO of Ignite Technologies and as a strategic adviser with Wellington Associates.

Research Now has also promoted John Tan from SVP to EVP of global operations.
