Planet Retail hires Pepsico exec for North American expansion

US— Retail analyst firm Planet Retail has hired former Pepsico customer development director Brian Wisniewski to lead its growth in North America.

Wisniewski, who was in charge of the Tesco and Walmart accounts at Pepsico, has been given the role of senior vice president and will be based at the firm’s Park Ridge office in Illinois.

As well as working at Pepsico, Wisniewski has served as director of global retail development for Quaker Oats and was chief financial officer at Nielsen France.

Planet Retail’s managing director Pierre Lever said: “North America represents a key market for Planet Retail in terms of existing clients we serve as well as opportunities for growth. We are therefore delighted to be recruiting somebody with Brian’s track record as a senior member of the management team.”
