People

The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research industry. This week: Brahm Insight, River Research, Verve Partners, RDSi, In4mation Insights, NCB and Discovery Research.

Brahm Insight in the UK has appointed LAURA MORRIS as an account director, where she will head the Royal Mail, Asda and HBOS accounts. She joins the firm from Nunwood and was previously a researcher on the client side at Nestlé.

BELINDA BROWN has joined River Research in the UK as operations director from now-defunct data collection firm The Wire. River has also appointed ZOE BEST and JUDE TOMLINSON – both formerly of Illuminas – as research managers.

UK-based panel and online community provider Verve Partners has appointed AMYAS PETO as operations director and PAUL FERREIRA as technical design manager. Peto was previously operations director and Ferreira was flash designer at ID Factor.

RDSi in the UK has appointed PHILLIP DONOVAN as a senior research executive. He was previously at Prescient and Sports Marketing Surveys. The firm has promoted EMMA O’CONNELL to associate director and KATRINA MOYLAN and SARA JAMES as research managers. ANNA LOUGHRAN has joined the firm as a research executive, while ROSEANN SMITH joins the Leeds office as a quantitative specialist. Smith has worked both agency and clientside as an insight manager for Otto UK and Asda.

STUART SCHWARTZ has been appointed managing director of client development at research agency In4mation Insights in the US. He joins from Research International where he was senior vice president of client solutions.

UK children’s charity NCB has appointed IVANA LaVALLE as director of research, evidence and evaluation. She joins from the National Centre for Social Research where she was director of the families and children group.

COLIN RICE has joined Discovery Research in the UK. He previously spent six years at strategic research agency Drummond Madell.
