Pajot named vice chairman of IMS Health

US— Healthcare and pharmaceutical data firm IMS Health has named Gilles Pajot as vice chairman, a new position reporting to David Carlucci, IMS chairman and chief executive.
Pajot was previously the company’s chief operating officer. In his new role, he is tasked with extending IMS’s worldwide growth strategy across a broader range of health industry sectors.
“He will advance the execution of the company’s strategic priorities to create new value for clients and shareholders, while continuing to focus on IMS’s high-growth markets in Asia Pacific and Japan,” the firm said.
Following Pajot’s appointment to vice chairman, the company’s consulting and services business and regional operations in the Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa will report to Carlucci.
