OTX appoints SVP for TV entertainment arm

US— David Klein has been appointed senior vice president of the TV entertainment division at consumer research and consulting agency OTX.

He has spent more than 15 years in the research industry and held management positions at Centris, TNS, ASI and The Dohring Company where he worked with entertainment clients including Scripps, MTV Networks, NBC, Fox Entertainment, Google and Time Warner Cable.

Bruce Friend, OTX’s president of client development, said: “David is an early adopter of web-based research tools as alternatives to conventional methodolgies, which makes him a great fit with OTX’s culture of innovation. He is immersed in the challenges and opportunities our TV/entertainment clients face and will be another valuable asset we offer to aid and guide their brand, content and distribution initiatives.”

  • Meanwhile, OTX has added the Socrates simulated moderator software, developed by Quester, to its AdCep advertising testing product. The software is designed to conduct interactive one-on-one interviews with respondents in online quant surveys.
