New directors land at Brand Driver

UK— Media, leisure and entertainment research agency Brand Driver has hired two new directors, an associate director and a senior research executive.

Joining as directors are Suzanne King (pictured) and former News International man Martyn U’ren.

King was previously a director at People Science & Policy (PSP), a consulting firm she founded in 2000. Prior to that she held senior positions with RSL (now Ipsos Mori), Abbey National, The Wellcome Trust and The Department of Employment.

U’ren, meanwhile, has spent the last five years at News International, where he held the role of insights manager within the business intelligence department and was responsible for running the company’s 25,000-member reader panel. He previously held media planning roles at The Evening Standard and PHD Media.

Associate director Alan Worley previously worked with King at PSP following spells with BMRB Social Research and NOP Social Research. Emma Hazou, previously at Hall & Partners, has been given the role of senior research executive.

Managing director Karen Wise said: “The people we are bringing into Brand Driver this summer will broaden our skills and resources and help move the company forward.”
