Moore moves into global MD role at Nunwood

UK— Former Vodafone insight chief Andy Moore is to take over as global managing director of Nunwood on 1 January, replacing Phil Rushfirth who is moving to Los Angeles to support the company’s North American growth plans.

Moore joined the research consultancy as strategic planning director in March after eight years heading up the mobile phone network’s global customer insight function.

In his new role Moore will oversee the development of Nunwood’s geographic business units in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.

The Leeds-based business first expanded overseas in March 2007, opening an office in New York, and since then it has set up shop in New Zealand, the Netherlands and, most recently, Australia.

Moore’s predecessor, Rushfirth, who co-founded the agency with CEO Clare Bruce, will establish Nunwood’s first West Coast US office with his move to LA.

He’ll work alongside US managing director Melanie Appleby, who is based in New York.
