Millward Brown names Alagón as new global innovations head

US— Millward Brown has named Jorge Alagón as head of global innovations, stepping in to the role vacated in March by Graham Page who moved to helm the marketing research agency’s neuroscience practice.

Alagón is an internal appointment, having previously ran the Millward Brown Optimor consulting practice and the marketing sciences team in Latin America.

He has been with the business since 2002, and before that worked for advertising agency JWT – a sister company to Millward Brown within the WPP marketing services group.

Commenting on Alagón’s appointment, global solutions chairman Gordon Pincott said: “Jorge joins at a very busy time for the [global innovations] team, which currently has a key focus on developing new brand, tracking and digital solutions.”
