UK— McDonald’s former consumer insight manager Ruth Buchanan has joined Marks & Spencer as senior project manager.
Buchanan (pictured) joined McDonald’s in 2008. An M&S spokesperson said she had been in her new role “for a couple of weeks”.
Before her spell with McDonald’s she served as insight manager at Royal Mail Group and in 2006, was named Best Research Newcomer at the annual Research awards.
McDonald’s has yet to make a decision on replacing Buchanan, a spokesman said.
