Le Manh to lead Ipsos North America, Smith becomes advisor

US — Ipsos has named deputy global CEO Pierre Le Manh as its North America CEO, replacing Jim Smith.

Smith becomes a special adviser to Ipsos co-presidents Jean-Marc Lech and Didier Truchot while retaining his role as head of the Ipsos team responsible for the company’s Procter & Gamble account.

Le Manh, meanwhile, joined Ipsos in 2004 and was previously CEO of Consodata, a marketing database firm.

At Ipsos, he has served as chairman of the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions and as CEO of Ipsos Europe.

Since 2007, Le Manh has been chairman and CEO of Ipsos Marketing – role that he will retain in addition to his new responsibilities.
