Have the rights to the name "IRB" been given up by Harris Interactive (now owned by ToLuna Parent?), who took over MRSL, who took over IRB in the late 90's? There's also an IRB in Belgium too from memory.

Dear Darren, We would like to update on your post that the abbreviation “IRB” is not a trade mark of any organization yet. All the organizations whose abbreviation is IRB, use the word “IRB” after introducing their full name. The abbreviation “IRB” is being used in writing by many organizations which can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IRB_(disambiguation). Here “IRB” stands for Internet Research Bureau Pvt. Ltd. as mentioned in the news post. Please reach out to us at query@irbureau.com if you have any question.

Dear Darren, Internet Research Bureau is not a part of Toluna, nor are we based in Belgium. We are a 3 year old online research firm headquartered in New Delhi (India) and now in The UK. As to rights to that name 'IRB', it is simply an acronym of our original name (mentioned above). We share 'IRB' with several other organizations globally http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IRB_(disambiguation). We would be delighted to answer any further queries you may have. Thanks Marketing Manager- Internet Research Bureau
