Illuminas names Fong associate director for Asia Pacific

HONG KONG— Former HSBC executive Pat Fong has joined research agency Illuminas as associate director for the Asia Pacific region.
Fong will be based in Hong Kong and report in to Matthew Carr, regional managing director, with a brief to expand the business in the region and bolster the agency’s consultancy offering.
At HSBC Fong led regional marketing for insurance and key business development projects in Japan, China and Vietnam.
Before that she ran an advertising and branding consultancy which was sold to ad agency DDB, and she has also held roles with Citibank and DBS.
