Former Harris M&A man launches Red Pearl Advisors

US— Harris Interactive’s former head of corporate development Kyle Karnes has launched a consulting firm to advise market research and marketing services agencies on growth strategies and mergers and acquisitions.
Based in New York, Karnes says Red Pearl Advisors aims to work primarily with small and mid-sized firms offering consulting and transaction advisory services in the areas of international expansion and global sourcing, as well as market, product and technology development and acquisition.
Karnes has spent the past 11 years working for Harris Interactive. He joined the firm in 1998 as director of internet operations with responsiblity for leading the development of the company’s internet research business.
In his most recent role of executive vice president for corporate development, he oversaw the firm’s global expansion and related M&A activities.
