Cello Health Insight promotes two to manage new CPD programme

Healthcare News People UK

UK — The specialist healthcare market research agency has created a bespoke continuous professional development programme with director level appointments to run it.

Called BUILD, the initiative is an interactive career-long training programme encompassing seven core skill sets, with each skill set made up of up to 13 separate training ‘building blocks’, designed to be achieved across a complete career path, from research assistant to director.

The skill sets covered by the programme are a combination of specialist research skills, such as moderation and facilitation, and wider business and management skills such as people management and business development.  It will be available both on- and offline to allow staff to plan and track their own career development.  Training is delivered by a combination of in-house staff and external experts.

The programme has been developed by Leyla Itani (pictured right), who has been promoted to international learning and development director, and by Helen Porter (pictured left), who has been promoted to learning and development director. The pair have been at Cello Health Insight for eight and 15 years respectively and will jointly oversee the deployment of BUILD.

Itani joined Cello Health Insight in 2006 as a researcher, before moving into a learning and development role in 2010, combining her healthcare and market research industry knowledge with a background in psychology and education. Porter joined in 1999, and after eight years in a client-facing research role, moved her focus to coaching and training.

Formerly Insight Research Group, Cello Health Insight is the global marketing research arm of Cello Health, with offices in London, New York, Chicago and Switzerland. Cello Health was launched in February 2014, bringing together Cello Group’s health-orientated agencies.
