SINGAPORE— BDRC has launched an Asian business in Singapore headed by Piers Lee, formerly of Kadence and Synovate.
Lee is rejoining BDRC, having worked in the firm’s financial services team in the UK before he moved to Asia in 2000. “It’s great to be back with the company again,” he said.
He is a former president of the Market Research Society of Singapore and also worked as general manager of Synovate in the country before he joined Kadence.
BDRC Asia will be a full-service agency offering research in the areas of B2B, financial services, travel and tourism, and business consulting. It will have its own CATI facility and viewing studio.
Group CEO Cris Tarrant described Lee as “a very experienced researcher and business analyst who has consulted widely for multinationals and large local corporations in Asia”.
The group also owns BDRC Continental and Perspective Research Services in the UK.
News of Lee’s departure from Kadence was announced last week.
