Aura reaches for the Sky with new chairman

UK— Danny Russell, the marketing strategy director at broadcaster BSkyB, has been appointed the new chair of the Association of Users of Research Agencies (Aura).

He stepped into the role at the clientside association’s recent AGM, succeeding Alliance & Leicester’s John Buckle who now becomes vice chair.

Russell (pictured) will look to increase the association’s membership, which currently stands at 140 organisations and 300 individuals, during his tenure.

He will be supported by Monique Hellel, HSBC’s head of personal customers research, who has been voted in as deputy chair.
