Arbitron names NPR’s Delman as CFO

North America People

US— Radio ratings firm Arbitron has hired National Public Radio’s chief strategy officer Debra Delman as chief financial officer.

Delman, a former CFO for Discovery Networks International, replaces Sean Creamer, who has been interim finance chief since May.

Creamer took over from Richard Surratt, who resigned earlier this year citing personal reasons. Creamer remains Arbitron’s chief operating officer.

Arbitron CEO Bill Kerr described Delman as “a talented and capable senior financial executive with extensive experience in the radio, media and entertainment industries… She understands our business and our customers well, and will be a valuable addition to the Arbitron executive staff.”
