Arbitron CFO steps down citing ‘personal reasons’

North America People

US— Arbitron’s chief financial officer Richard Surratt has resigned, citing personal reasons, after a year in the role.

Surratt will remain as CFO until 11 May before handing over responsibilities to chief operating officer – and ex-CFO – Sean Creamer on an interim basis. Surratt will cease being an employee of the company on 8 June.

CEO Bill Kerr said: “I want to thank Richard for his contributions to Arbitron and wish him well.”

The media measurement firm has engaged headhunters to search for a replacement.
