US research agency InsightExpress has promoted ED AGVENT and RYAN PRICE to directors of its custom research division. Agvent was previously senior manager of client relationships and Price was a senior account executive. The firm has also moved JAMIE HUFFMAN up from senior account manager to account executive.
Indian boutique research agency Market Xcel has appointed BHOORENDER PANWAR as regional sales manager for Singapore, where the firm has recently opened a new office. He joins from IT research agency Springboard where he was responsible for strategic business development.
GEORGINA BOTTING has been promoted to client services director at online research agency Tpoll in the UK. Botting joined the firm in 2002. Tpoll has also appointed SARAH KAVANAGH as an associate director. She joins after working in Australia for Synovate and Galileo Kaleidoscope.
US opinion research agency Greenberg Quinlan Rosner has opened a new office in Argentina. The expansion will be led by ANA IPARRAGUIRRE, who joined the firm in 2006, and BRYAN KIRSCHNER, who was hired last month as vice president for corporate strategies.
LORIN BRISTOW has joined US government markets consultancy Galain Solutions as a partner. He has spent 17 years working in strategic marketing and market research, most recently as vice president of marketing at communications software firm PlantCML.
Building data provider Emporis has appointed BRIAN TONRY as chief marketing officer. He was previously responsible for market research and analytics at McGraw-Hill Construction.
US marketing analytics firm MarketShare Partners has hired IVAN MARKMAN as executive vice president of finance, operations and strategy. He was previously at Yahoo, where he was vice president of corporate strategy.
US direct marketing agency Epsilion has launched a new marketing intelligence division, Epsilon Targeting. The new venture will be headed by BRIAN RAINEY, who has been with the firm since 2007. Supporting him will be newly appointed general manager ARLENE LACHARITE who joined Epsilon when it acquired Abacus two years ago.
DAVID NEWBERRY has joined UK customer interaction software firm Portrait Software as chief marketing officer. He joins from consultancy Marketing Supply Chain and has previously held senior marketing positions at British American Tobacco.
US automotive marketing and information firm R.L Polk & Co. has appointed JIM DIMOND as vice president of global network planning. He joins the company from Chrysler where he was national dealer placement manager.
UK data collection agency FML has appointed KEIRONE CAPSTICK to lead its new 30-station CATI unit. He previously worked for Continental Research and RSM.
