Wilke will install Zokem’s Mobile Media Tracker, which keeps tabs on users’ behaviour and content consumption, on a representative panel of 1,000 smartphone users.

Jakob Fiellau-Nikolajsen, Wilke’s CEO, said: “Zokem’s technology will revolutionise the knowledge gathered on people’s mobile behaviour. It will demonstrate authentically how the world’s biggest mass medium can be studied, analysed and interpreted.”

On top of signing an agreement with Wilke, Zokem has opened new offices in New York and London to get “closer to key customers”.

CEO Hannu Verkasalo (pictured) said: “Until now, Europe has been the single most important market for Zokem. However, North America has overtaken Europe during the past year with the rapid success of the iPhone, Blackberry and Android-based smartphones.”
